Food film screenings in celebration of Schoharie Watershed Week

Map of the Schoharie Watershed from catskillstreams.org.

In celebration of Clean Drinking Water Month, the Greene County Soil & Water Conservation District is hosting Schoharie Watershed Week. From May 15 through 29, various activities will be held in honor of our region's water, the Schoharie Watershed, Basin and Reservoir.

Just one of the components of the week's many events is the Mountaintop Film series - a series of six FREE screenings of film focused on environmental and water quality subjects.

The Watershed Agricultural Council is sponsoring two screenings of films that focus on food and the environment:

Big River - the Catskills Debut! - and FRESH!

FRESH! is more than a movie, it’s a gateway to action. Our aim is to help grow FRESH food, ideas, and become active participants in an exciting, vibrant, and fast-growing movement.
